Kobaj found something so beautiful it's overwhelming, and pulling him in two directions.
The first is one of sadness, despair, and misery. He is crying because all of this will end. His heart desperately wants to live on inside VR, but he knows thats impossible. The real world and its crushing weight can't be escaped.
But there is hope; the second direction is of optimisim, greatfulness for what he has gotten to experience so far. Sure, he can't live in this wonderful fantasy, but he can visit.
